The practice tests in The Gold Standard are always updated and interactive at MCAT-prep.com for free. The free 2010-2011 practice CBTs are online and are fully cross-referenced to the current edition of The Gold Standard. In fact, The Gold Standard textbook and videos cover the content for both the 2010 and 2011 exams. They are available at The MCAT Store.

Here is a summary of the 2007 MCAT changes:

- The new test is shorter (approximately 5 hours vs. the current testing time of 8 hours).
- Students receive their scores more quickly.
- The exam is now offered more frequently throughout the year (up to 20 testing dates).
- The test is given in smaller, climate-controlled rooms.
- You will be provided with scratch paper for your calculations.
- You can highlight parts of the passage or strike out answers on your computer screen.
